Intercom System PrICS-400

The Slican PrICS-400 intercom system is a solution designed to meet the needs of prisons, closed wards, etc. The solution provides key functions for two-way communication between jailers/supervisors and inmates.

The Slican PrICS-400 intercom system allows the janitor to initiate the call with chosen inmate, activate listening or deliver a message to a larger group of recipients.

Full equipment, connection and operation provided, as well as a durable, damage-resistant terminal cover.

  • HANDLING CONNECTIONS BETWEEN TERMINALS AND THE SUPERVISOR

  • DELIVERING MESSAGES

  • BROADCAST OF RADIO MESSAGES

  • TERMINAL LISTENING (APPROPRIATE AUTHORITY NEEDED)

  • TWO QUEUES OF TELEPHONE CALLS FROM TERMINALS (REGULAR AND FROM HIGH SUPERVISION TERMINALS)

Supervisor’s set

The intercom system is based on the Slican NCP CM-400 PBX, allowing for full telephone service both inside and outside the prison. The supervisor/dispatcher is equipped with a system telephone with a gooseneck microphone and a console that facilitates the handling of multiple subscribers (terminals in cells).

The guard can make or answer a call to a specific inmate, make an announcement, play a radio recording, and start listening from a selected cell (if he has the appropriate authorizations). It is also possible to communicate only with selected cells, according to defined zones (e.g. a specific floor, ward, or cells with increased supervision).

Terminals in cells

The DPH.IP-VE1P.PrICS -inox terminals installed in the cells enable two-way contact with inmates. The terminal allows you to initiate a connection with the supervisor, receive a call or message, and mute the radio signal. The terminal is connected to a signaling module located outside, which shows a pending notification by lighting the TSL lamp. The module also has an integrated TSR button that allows to clear the terminal state.

The terminal installed in the cell has a vandal-proof housing made of stainless steel. Thanks to the materials used and its smooth form, the device has increased resistance to mechanical damage. It is also possible to rivet the front panel of the terminal to prevent it from opening. Installing the system is simple and requires minimal cabling in the IP network.

The Slican PrICS-400 intercom system also works with the Slican DPH.IP doorphone as an element of the access control system (ACS). This extension of the system allows you to control and register entrances and exits, view the entrance and people using the doorphone (using the Slican Messenger.CTI application), and support proximity identifiers (RFID reader).
